Yoga pregnancy is a kind, calm, yet very effective practice to bring into you and your baby’s life! If you are new to Yoga, pregnancy is the ideal time to start a safe, energetic and nourishing practise. Yoga focuses on the union with the breath, the expectant mother is breathing for two, there is a constant state of union naturally linking pregnant ladies to Yoga.

Pregnancy yoga is now recognised as an ideal exercise for expectant mothers and has the backing of midwives and doctors as a recommended way to keep both fit and mobile.
Classes with Bahia Yoga will focus on key holistic areas, such as breath work, deep relaxation, Yoga postures, movement, meditations for all stages of pregnancy (from 16 to 42 weeks).
Paid time off work for Pregnancy Yoga classes
Women in full time employment are entitled to paid time off work to attend yoga classes, which are covered by the category antenatal appointments and relaxation and parent craft classes. Health in Pregnancy Grant (HIPG)
Since April 2009 onwards you can claim a one-off, tax-free payment from H M Revenue & Customs (HMRC) if you’re a mum-to-be who’s at least 25 weeks pregnant. The payment is called ‘Health in Pregnancy Grant’ and is to help you prepare for the birth of your baby. How do I register?
You need to complete a comprehensive registration form prior to beginning the programme. Each session will incorporate a supportive sharing time to assess and evaluate the changing physical and emotional needs of each student.
